The Effigies will release their first studio album in over 20 years this Tuesday.

Chicago punk-rock band The Effigies have released their new album, available for purchase on Amazon and CdBaby. This will be the first full length studio release for the band in over 20 years.

The album was released via Criminal IQ records and seems to be highly enjoyed among fans. You can preview one of the new tracks from the album, "Coldplate" on their Myspace page. This is the band's 4th album since their inception.

Believe it or not, the band still have most of their original lineup, except for the new guitarist.

You can check out John Kezdy (vocals), Paul Zamost (bass), Steve Economou (drums) and guitarist Robert McNaughton at a special CD release show at the Double Door on July 6th.

Bear in mind the show is for the 21+ crowd only.
