With the list of bands at warped tour growing every year, its easy to miss some quality bands due to simple time constraints.

Here are a few bands that won't be headliners, but will have everyone talking on the walk back to the car.

Warped Tour Expands its Musical Tastes

First on this list we have P.O.S, not one of the standard Warped bands. Hailing from Minneapolis, P.O.S is part of a new wave of hip hop acts that have slowly become standard fare on the summer tour. But unlike current and former acts 3OH!3 and Gym Class Heroes who cater to a more pop crowd, P.O.S brims with a punk rock bravado and spits rhymes with white hot fire.

His lyrics flash like Atmosphere but vibe like the current hot 100 hip hop hits list. His new album "Never Better" is out now and he will be on the full tour.

Another act that will be getting a lot of attention is NeverShoutNever. The band is fronted by singer song writer Christofer Drew, and brings to mind many comparisons to bands like the Rockets Summer and Dashboard Confessional. Both of those bands are big names to be compared to at such a young age but Drew seems to be very ambitious.

Already signing with Warner Brothers Records he has headlined tours and gained a strong fallowing. Though he is only on a handful of Warped dates he is playing other small venues before that stint as he promotes his "Summer EP."

Young Bands Have A Lot To Prove At Warped Tour

Hailing from Arizona, the next band on the list has been working small venues in support of their new album Small Steps, Heavy Hooves. The band is called Dear and the Headlights, and their alt-country rock is a great fit for those long summer nights.

Their sound is a combination of witty and scathing lyrics and rich guitar driven sound that falls somewhere between the Kings of Leon and The Get Up Kids. And while they may not be the standard three cord punk or have the now common neon flash of other warped acts this hard working band is sure to gain more word of mouth support as the tour goes on.

Warped Tour Veterans Still Working Hard

Lastly, there are Warped tour and punk rock veterans, Bayside. While they may toe the line between headliners and best kept secret, these boys are certainly well schooled in punk rock theory.

Taking their cues from recent legends like The Alkeline Trio, Bayside has developed a strong almost cult like fallowing. their New Album Shudder is once again full of the catchy material fans have all come to expect.

If they keep selling out solo tours and tagging along with the ever popular New Found Glory its hard to think how much longer these guys can toe that line between MTV fandom and punk rock heroes. Either way their live set is something you are not going to want to miss.
